Our Culture at Epower

I am convinced that the only people worthy of consideration in this world are the unusual ones. For the common folks are like the leaves of a tree, they live and die unnoticed.”

― L. Frank Baum

Bella: “…Tell me, has anything odd happened to you recently?

Me: What do you mean, odd?’

Bella: Unusual. Deviating from the customary. Something outside the usual parameters of normalcy. An occurrence of unprecedented weird.”

Me: Unusual things happen to me every day since I started working with those guys.

Unusual…that was the first word that screamed at me the first day I walked into the office. Who exactly are these people? I was curious.

I got the answers to my question a few days later; Here they are

To try to figure out who the CEO is or tell the Heads of Department apart from other team members on your first visit would be quite difficult because we are a team. Everybody’s opinion is important. A typical organization has a defined hierarchy and usually, you can spot the boss in seconds. Not at Epower. Visitors have been stunned to find the atmosphere so loving and welcoming. Everyone relates to the next as an equal. Feedbacks go back and forth between the members of the departments and their head- a cleaner can give feedback to the boss, as long as her believability is strong and of course, the head of departments go tough if need be, but it’s all done with love.

Our projects are handled with disruption in mind. We constantly come up with unique perspectives and ideas that differentiate us from other brands.

When we branded Shirts for a company by the name ‘Real Shisha’, Mr. David, the manager gave us 10 out of 10 as his customers could not stop commenting about how incredible his team members looked.

I remember the first time I walked into the office. If I hadn’t seen the name of the company on the building, I would have been hundred percent sure that I had missed my way. Our office space screams divergence! We decided against the norm of using regular painting on our wall. Inspired by waves, we contracted an artist to draw the waves sandwiched with logos of global internet brands.

Giving our clients service that superseded their expectations is our constant goal. Good is not good enough….we strive for only the best…There are a lot of goods but very few bests. We strive to be the best of the best.

A single comma missing from a post is an occurrence that has to be accounted for. Lateness is extremely frowned at and it rarely happens. Designs are meticulously done and if it’s not up to standard, it most definitely won’t be approved.

Sometimes, marketing content takes a day and a half or 2 days to finish because the message has to be pitch perfect and the design must be captivating. So as to produce the desired result.

Our work ethic is strong. Team members would typically spend time after work to ensure deadlines are met and clients are happy.

Excuses are a taboo. Despite all the reasons why your project could have been delayed, we deliver.

In a few words the answer to the question who we are is;

At Epower, meritocracy is practiced- The best idea wins. We are a family. We work, eat, laugh, sometimes cry together and watch each other’s back. We are a group of weirdos doing exceptional things- at work, in the society where we live and the world at large.
